Our History

Abril, 2019

Legacy Insurance Group founded

Legacy Insurance Group (LIG) was founded in April 2019 by a small number of brokers who had the same vision to disrupt the insurance industry and build an agency that does business the right way, for the benefit of their clients. By late 2019, LIG had offices in Omaha, NE, and Wichita, KS.

2020

With the pandemic ramping up, LIG developed a hybrid model of service.

Meeting clients when and how they preferred, using webinars and video calls as well as in-person events and face-to-face visits. As the business changes, the values remain the same, to educate people and help them achieve their financial goals.

In summer of 2021

New program called, Wine, Women & Wealth, Nebraska

In summer of 2021, two partners, Bethany Janzen & McKenzie Janzen launched a new program called, Wine, Women & Wealth – Nebraska, events focused on building a community of women who desire to take charge of their financial future.

September, 2021

Focus Wealth Management Founded

In September 2021, Dylan Janzen helped found Focus Wealth Management (FWM). Is a financial planning firm which centers on retirement planning and specializes in helping clients with tax planning, income planning, and risk management.

Legacy Insurance Group Expansion

Legacy Insurance Group opened an office in Kearney, NE, a second office in south-east Omaha, NE and planted a satellite office in the Orlando, FL area. With the goal, to become the most trusted insurance agency in the Midwest, Legacy Insurance Group is attracting great people from inside and outside of the insurance industry. Legacy Insurance Group believes in providing honest, hard-working men and women with the opportunity to build their own businesses within the model of doing what’s best for clients and earning the trust of the community. This is the formula that is helping Legacy Insurance Group grow across the Midwest and in other states.
